Midwest Equipment began in July of 2015 by Jake & Carmon Swisher of Holbrook, NE. Little did we know the journey we were setting out on. Midwest Equipment has grown to be one of the largest AuctionTime.com sellers in just a few short years. We have since added a couple independent reps that reside in Kansas who believe in online marketing and work the business just as we do.

With our steady dedication and work ethic, our Midwest Equipment team does all we can to make your selling/buying experience a positive one. We take caution in making sure we are able to give our customers the best service in the Midwest and have a strong desire for repeat business from our customers. Doing honest homework before we list an item lets our sellers now the value of their equipment. With Midwest Equipment, there is never anything hidden.

Midwest Equipment uses a commission schedule that is in the best interest of the seller but still provides for our families. We started this business with the mindset of: selling a lot of equipment and making a few dollars off of every piece. This has played a large part in the success of our company.

Our Team

Jake & Carmon Swisher reside near Holbrook, NE. We have 3 boys that spend every day, all day with us. We are dedicated to customer service and to the golden rule: treating others as we want to be treated. Jake has a background in business, selling equipment, AI'ing cattle, welding, and many other numerous things. Carmon began her career in agronomy and chemical sales. This soon changed to secretary and stay-at-home, working mom. Together we make a great team and are excited for what the future holds for Midwest Equipment.

Mark & Cecilia Peters reside near Randall, KS where they farm and raise cattle with their children. Mark and Cecilia both grew up on family farming/cattle operations in Jewell County, KS. Mark works in farming and cattle production and has experience with custom fencing and custom hay services. Cecilia has an education in animal science and worked for a local equipment dealership for several years before given the opportunity to work with Midwest Equipment, which then has given her the greatest gift of all, being a working stay-at-home mom. They work hard to provide the best possible marketing experience to others and hope that the business only grows from here.

Lance Anderson grew up in Manhattan, KS where he learned all about the auction business from his grandfather, who was an auctioneer for over 30 years. In 2015, he opened his own auction company with the help of his wife, Meri, who also works as a Physician Assistant at a rural hospital in southeast Kansas. Lance and Meri reside in Fort Scott, KS with their two daughters, Elsie and Mae. In their spare time, they also run a small cow/calf operation as well as own and manage several rental properties. Lance has experience in selling farm, construction, and transportation equipment and is very motivated and eager to earn your business.
